Just 10 minutes from the start of the chimpanzee trail, settled underneath a canopy of old trees, lies Kibale Forest Camp. Staying in one of their thatched African style tents allows you to totally immerse yourself in the sounds of the rain forest and wildlife lovers will be able to see many rare birds and mammals. Sharp-eyed visitors may catch a glimpse of the rare Red Colobus from the main veranda.

Operated by Nature Lodges Uganda this tented camp is situated on the fringes of the Kibale Forest 2 kms from the Bigodi trading centre and the Bigodi Swamp much revered by birding enthusiasts.

The camp consists of 7 African safari style tents, comfortably furnished with twin or double beds. Each unit has its own private ensuite bathroom with an eco friendly toilet, a dressing room and a bush shower. Seated from your own verandah, the red or black and white colobus can often be observed in the dense camp surrounding.

The tents come with en-suite facilities, hot water, and private balcony.
